people. It is ideally located equidistant from the downtowns of Minneapolis
and St. Paul, a 30 minute ride from the Twin Cities International Airport.
It is located in Ramsey County at the intersection of interstates 35W
and 694, providing easy access to cities, work places, and amenities
in all directions.
New Brighton is a fully developed City

Wilshire Elementary
The mission of Wilshire Elementary is to provide students with the necessary
skills to become life-long learners, to value themselves and others, and
to contribute to society.
St. Anthony Middle School
The mission of St. Anthony Middle School
(SAMS) is to provide a small, caring, personal and unique educational
environment which affords many opportunities for participation; motivates
lifelong learning and promotes self and mutual respect.
St. Anthony Village High School
St. Anthony Village High School provides
a safe, supportive environment for academic, social and emotional growth
while preparing students for college or technical study. Lifelong skills
in problem-solving, research and social interaction are taught through
a systematic study system involving students, parents, and teachers.
This four year high school is located
on a 20 acre site and has a current enrollment of 400 students. St.
Anthony Village High School is accredited by the North Central Association
of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The small size and the comprehensive
curriculum of 90 or more course offerings places emphasis on the total
student.

The City of New Brighton takes pride
in providing high quality parks & recreation services to its residents
and participants. The Parks & Recreation Department contributes
to the overall health of the New Brighton community, neighborhoods,
and residents. They manage park facilities and recreation programs/activities
year round for residents of all ages and abilities. Their programs
encourage healthy lifestyles, increases property values, develops community
pride, protects the environment, and relieves stress.

Recreation:
The Eagles Nest:
The Eagles Nest is a facility for children
ages 12 months to 12 years. The kids will be thrilled to experience
the fun at the Eagles Nest! Children can let their imaginations run
wild as they leap into the ball pit, climb the 8 ft. climbing wall,
zoom down the triple slide, and find their way through the wiggle waggles
and the foam forest! The Eaglets Aerie is for the little tykes ages
3 and under. Complete with its own colorful ball pit, challenging climbing
structure, reading corner and many other activities geared toward the
development of toddlers!
Youth Activities
The New Brighton Parks and Recreation
Department provides a variety of recreation classes, sport clinics &
lessons for youth of all ages. It is their philosophy to provide children
with the opportunity to experience creative activities, develop new skills
and have fun in a safe, positive environment. The department strives to
hire optimistic, well educated staff members that have good communication and
customer service skills.

Adult Activities:
The New Brighton Parks and Recreation
Department offers a complete line of adult exercise programs. Choose
from Aerobic Fitness & Conditioning Exercise, Non-Stop Hip Hop, Family
Yoga, Viniyoga, Wellness Classes and Karate. They also offer adult sport
leagues such as volleyball, softball, soccer, and water polo.
