Mounds View

With its towering trees and serene wetland areas, Mounds View boasts some of the most striking natural beauty in the North Metro area. The city takes great pride in its appearance and that commitment has been rewarded with a “Tree City, USA” designation for the last 12 years in a row.

Centrally located off I-35 W on County Highway 10, Mounds View is easily accessible to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Business development is enhanced by Mounds View Business Park, an attractive 90-acre site with high-quality tenants. Mounds View is also the new home of Medtronic's CRDM campus. CRDM is Medtronic's largest division. The initial phase of construction included 3 eight-story office towers and a five-level parking ramp for over 4,000 employees.

The community boasts a diverse base of industry. Liberty Enterprises, SYSCO Minnesota and Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. have their corporate headquarters in Mounds View. Two retail centers, Silverview Plaza and Mounds View Square, offer residents and visitors an attractive mix of specialty shops, drugstores, restaurants, service and other businesses.

The mayor and a proactive City Council are committed to keeping Mounds View a pleasant place to live, work and play. City officials and residents work toward a common goal – facilitating positive changes to meet the needs of both the residential and business community.

With numerous parks, many recreational facilities, a diverse business base, and one of the top schools districts in the state, Mounds View offers a safe, affordable environment for living and working.
